TL;DR
Field Reimbursement Manager, Neuroscience (Patient Engagement & Customer Solutions) (Market Access/Reimbursement): Educating healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement, coding, claims, coverage, and patient access for neuroscience therapies with an accent on resolving complex access and affordability barriers. Focus on analyzing payer and account data, coordinating with cross-functional field teams, and providing compliant reimbursement support across pharmacy, medical, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States territory, including Columbia, Greenville, and Charleston, South Carolina; permanent residence in the listed territory required. Field-based role with up to 50% of time onsite with healthcare providers and up to 75% travel.

What you will do

  • Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submission, coding, coverage, and payer requirements.
  • Serve as the field expert for patient access, fulfillment, reimbursement, and affordability solutions for neuroscience therapies.
  • Identify and resolve access barriers through account management, data analysis, and collaboration with payer and managed care stakeholders.
  • Partner with sales representatives, key account managers, marketing, medical science, compliance, and other internal teams.
  • Build customer relationships, manage territory logistics, and plan activities across assigned accounts.
  • Maintain knowledge of payer policies, hub services, specialty distribution, and changing healthcare market dynamics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
  • Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals.
  • Experience with patient support hub services and the ability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, collaboration, influence, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid US driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the listed territory required.

Nice to have

  • Neuroscience disease-state experience.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, payer policy, and pharmaceutical reimbursement.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
