Field Reimbursement Manager (Neuroscience)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; territory includes Houston, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Beaumont. Permanent residence in the listed territory is required. This field-based role involves up to 50% on-site time with healthcare providers and up to 75% travel.

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, coding, payer procedures, and access requirements.
• Support patient access, fulfillment, and affordability for neuroscience therapies by resolving complex reimbursement and coverage barriers.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal PECS stakeholders.
• Use account management, market data, and payer insights to plan territory activity and address access issues proactively.
• Build trusted relationships with assigned healthcare accounts and provide compliant reimbursement and access support.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits, hub services, specialty distribution, payer policies, and market dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
• Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefit design, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Experience working with patient support hub services and building relationships with healthcare customers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and follow-through skills.
• Valid US driver’s license and permanent residence in the listed territory required.

Nice to have

• Neuroscience disease-state experience.
• Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and pharmaceutical reimbursement policies.
• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
