Researcher/Senior Researcher (Cancer Epigenetics)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; full-time onsite position

Salary: $60,320–$105,040 per year

What you will do

• Investigate epigenetic regulation of transcription and chromatin-based mechanisms in aggressive pediatric cancers.
• Use murine modeling, molecular biology, cell biology, functional genomics, chemical biology, and epigenomics approaches.
• Develop and characterize in vivo models of human disease, including genetic and xenograft rodent cancer models.
• Perform laboratory experiments independently and establish or troubleshoot new and modified protocols.
• Record experimental procedures and data accurately and prepare results for posters, presentations, and publications.
• Provide guidance to entry-level employees when needed and maintain regular, predictable attendance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a biological or related scientific discipline is required.
• Hands-on experience with genetic and/or xenograft rodent models of cancer is required for the role profile.
• Strong interest in cancer biology, epigenetics, and biomedical research.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including western blotting, molecular cloning, and functional genomics.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• For the Senior Researcher level, two years of relevant post-degree work experience are required; no experience is required with a master's degree. No experience is required for the Researcher level.
