Director, Market Access Lead - Rare Diseases (Europe Region)

What you will do

• Lead rare disease market access strategies aligned with global objectives and country needs.
• Develop differentiated approaches for cost-effectiveness, list-price, and free-pricing markets.
• Monitor European policies, payer trends, reimbursement frameworks, and healthcare policy developments.
• Manage health technology assessment dossiers, pricing negotiations, and reimbursement submissions.
• Adapt global access tools and value propositions for regional stakeholders.
• Partner with medical affairs and access teams on evidence and health economics outcomes research plans, while engaging payers, policymakers, advocacy groups, and public affairs teams.

Requirements

• Ten years of pharmaceutical experience, including eight years in market access.
• Experience with European rare disease pricing, reimbursement, launches, and approvals.
• Expertise in payer systems, economic models, and health technology assessment submissions.
• Knowledge of NICE, ZIN, TLV, QALY frameworks, and free-pricing markets.
• Fluent English and strong communication, data synthesis, matrix leadership, agility, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, health economics, or business preferred.
