Project Engineer (Pharmaceutical)

Salary: $109,500–$208,500 per year

What you will do

• Plan and lead medium- to large-scale engineering projects, including custom execution plans, investigations, and equipment development.
• Manage project cost, scope, schedule, procurement, financial targets, and reporting across multiple concurrent projects.
• Design products, processes, equipment, systems, and facilities using advanced engineering methods.
• Lead complex experiments, collect and analyze data, evaluate alternatives, and develop complete technical solutions.
• Assess design risks, failure modes, regulatory and operational needs, and implement mitigation and fallback strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, manufacturing, senior management, and external partners while mentoring other engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience is desired.
• Strong technical knowledge with demonstrated contributions to product or process development or improvement.
• Experience solving complex problems involving multiple competing factors and advising management on appropriate actions.
• Strong collaboration, communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Competence with financial systems and fiscal control.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate education or degree.
• Technical experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries.
