Senior Electrical Project Engineer (Biotechnology)

Location: Ireland; onsite role

Salary range: 63,200.00–103,200.00 annually

What you will do

• Design, specify, commission, and maintain LV and ELV electrical systems, including lighting, UPS, protection settings, fire alarms, data points, and building automation.
• Manage small electrical infrastructure projects and support design reviews, equipment installation, and site acceptance.
• Prepare electrical drawings, engineering evaluations, change-control documentation, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Design and specify cGMP E&I equipment and process controls, including systems connected to the business IT network.
• Support validation activities, investigate equipment and control-system anomalies, and respond to power-quality events.
• Supervise electrical contractors, operate and manage the HV network, and enforce site safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of experience working in a regulated industry.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment and support continuous improvement.
• Ability to work onsite in Ireland.
