Sr. Project Manager, Potent Facility

Location: Site-based in North Chicago, Illinois, United States; travel to other project sites, design reviews, and workshops is required.

Salary: $141,500–$268,500 base pay annually, plus benefits and eligibility for long-term incentive programs.

What you will do

• Lead strategic capital projects supporting manufacturing of potent neuroscience products and other innovative medicines.
• Own project objectives across EHS, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance throughout project execution.
• Coordinate consultants, architecture and engineering firms, construction contractors, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, KPIs, financial forecasts, estimates to complete, value engineering, and cost-control initiatives.
• Lead strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, scope and schedule management, and dispute resolution with Procurement.
• Present project performance and risks to steering committees, senior leadership, regulators, and government agencies.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
• At least 10 years of experience as an engineering, projects, or operations leader across multiple drug product operations.
• Deep technical and operational expertise in aseptic and sterile manufacturing technologies.
• Experience with multi-format drug product filling lines and lyophilizers; small-volume cytotoxic product filling experience is advantageous.
• Proven leadership of diverse, cross-functional teams, with strong negotiation, financial planning, budgeting, and P&L experience.
• Ability to work at the North Chicago site and travel to other project locations, design reviews, and workshops.
