Automotive Technician / Mechanic (Automotive)

Salary: USD 50–58 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Perform complete, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest concerns and communicate repair needs with the service department.
• Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and organization standards.
• Complete up to 30 hours of paid continuous training annually.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all vehicle makes and models.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, strong communication, and a desire to serve guests.
• Ability to work with hand tools, stand and walk for most of the workday, work in tight spaces, and handle vehicles lifted overhead.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds and drive manual-transmission vehicles.
• Ability to use a computer and meet or exceed hourly goals.

Nice to have

• ASE certifications or a plan to obtain them.
