Mechanical Quality Associate (Automotive)

Location: KS - Kansas City - Merriam, 6801 E Frontage Rd, Merriam, Kansas 66204

Hourly rate: $28.00–$42.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform vehicle quality inspections, general service repairs, brake repairs, engine repairs, and heating and air conditioning repairs.
• Repair steering and suspension systems, complete four-wheel alignments, and perform safety inspections and diagnostics.
• Ensure vehicles meet hirify.global Mechanical Quality Standards.
• Drive vehicles between locations as requested by the manager.
• Maintain, repair, and clean company-provided tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Provide customer service and collaborate with associates across store departments.

Requirements

• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly with customers and associates.
• Ability to monitor compliance with hirify.global, OSHA, and EPA policies.
• ASE certifications in Engine Repair (A1), Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), and Heating and Air Conditioning (A7) where required by state or local law.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
