TL;DR
Finance Intern (Universal Products and Experiences) (Retail/Consumer Products): Supporting APAC consumer product finance cycles, reporting, data analysis, and business partnering with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, quarterly close, and financial process coordination. Focus on preparing financial data, building reports and presentations, checking purchase orders, and assisting territory teams with analysis.

Location: Sydney, Australia — onsite at 580 George Street, Level 32

hirify.global is a global media and entertainment company whose Universal Products & Experiences division develops consumer products, retail offerings, games, and theme park experiences based on well-known entertainment franchises.

What you will do

  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and pacing, long-range planning, and quarterly close activities.
  • Assist with data uploads, data tables, presentation slides, reports, and financial deliverables.
  • Check data submissions and purchase orders as part of ongoing finance processes.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses for APAC territory teams, including data gathering, graphs, and presentations.
  • Download and organize contract information for analysis and support finance business partnering across the region.

Requirements

  • Interest in the consumer products business, retail trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • General accounting knowledge and the ability to work with multiple teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Enrollment in studies for the full duration of the internship is required.
  • Availability for a part-time, 9-month internship from March 2027 to December 2027 is required.
