Financial Reporting Analyst - Graduate (Finance)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland. The 18-month Graduate Programme starts on 1 September 2027. Candidates must be eligible to work in Switzerland and available for the programme start date.

What you will do

• Own and coordinate quarterly financial reporting processes with Group Finance and regional finance teams.
• Analyse Life & Health financial performance and explain variances against internal and external targets.
• Consolidate financial inputs from stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely reporting.
• Contribute to external disclosures and internal management reporting used for strategic steering.
• Identify improvements to reporting workflows and support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Up to three years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of or strong academic exposure to IFRS accounting standards.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, including the ability to deliver high-quality work under time pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken English and eligibility to work in Switzerland are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with reinsurance, insurance, or financial services.
• Interest in or experience with AI tools for financial reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of data visualisation or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Hiring process

• Final-stage candidates attend an Assessment Centre on Friday, November 27th.
• The Assessment Centre is preceded by an informal networking dinner the evening before; availability for both events is required.
