Chemical Process Operator I (Chemical Processing)

What you will do

• Perform aqueous cleaning according to EP 3628.
• Load and unload parts on fixtures and baskets, and label chemicals.
• Conduct system tests using hydrometers, thermometers, pH meters, timers, and other measuring instruments.
• Operate grit-blasting equipment for etching and perform masking and demasking of parts.
• Carry out alodine, passivation, de-rusting, desmutting, temper etch, pre-penetrant etch, Metalast coating, brush zinc-nickel plating, and Iridite 80 coating with guidance from a Chemical Process Operator II.

Requirements

• Graduate of Chemical Technology or have completed at least two years of related engineering studies.
• At least one year of experience working with chemicals and related procedures.
• Ability to work onsite in Baguio City, Philippines.
• The position requires access to Philippines export-controlled information.
