Associate Director, Leadership Development and Skills Enablement (Biopharma)

Location: Remote for US-based candidates only; Philadelphia, PA is listed as the employer location. The role requires 50–60% travel.

Base salary: $156,000–$234,000 per year for US-based candidates. Additional bonus, equity, and benefits may apply.

What you will do

• Own the enterprise leadership development strategy, including global curricula, skills pathways, and role-based learning experiences for emerging, first-line, and senior leaders.
• Create and implement customer-centric skills models for sales, medical, and market access field roles.
• Design and scale capability programs covering coaching, strategic decision-making, performance management, and leading through change.
• Partner with Medical, Market Access, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and Data & Enablement leaders to align learning content and enterprise ways of working.
• Develop programs that help leaders apply enterprise data and insights to strategic decisions and team coaching.
• Present capability insights, adoption metrics, risks, recommendations, and readiness assessments to executive leadership, while measuring learning impact and behavior change.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, organizational psychology, or a related field.
• 10 years of industry experience in Learning & Development, Leadership Development, HR, or relevant field-based leadership roles.
• At least 2 years of experience developing and delivering training using adult learning principles and distance learning methods.
• Expertise in leadership development frameworks, competency modeling, instructional design, content development, and training delivery.
• Experience with learning management systems, virtual training tools, Microsoft Office, training metrics, and learning-impact measurement.
• Ability to work in a matrixed enterprise environment, facilitate sessions for individual contributors and senior leaders, and travel 50–60%.

Nice to have

• Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience working in a product operating model.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS in Organizational Development, or related graduate degree.
