What you will do
- Own and evolve the software architecture for next-generation escalator control systems.
- Define system interfaces and communication protocols across multiple MCU and Linux-based boards.
- Drive cybersecurity and functional safety architecture aligned with IEC 62443 and IEC 61508.
- Establish architectural standards, coding guidelines, and design patterns for the embedded software team.
- Collaborate with the global architecture community and align local designs with company-wide platform direction.
- Mentor team members and conduct software architecture design reviews.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of embedded software development experience, including 5 years in software architecture or senior technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in embedded real-time systems, RTOS, bare-metal firmware, and Linux-based platforms such as Yocto or Buildroot.
- Experience with safety-critical systems and standards including IEC 61508, ISO 26262, or equivalent, as well as IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
- Expert knowledge of CAN, RS485, Modbus, MQTT, and TLS communication protocols.
- Excellent English communication skills required; Chinese native-language ability is preferred.
