Senior Scientist (Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize high-throughput mass spectrometry-based proteomics workflows and screening platforms for drug discovery.
• Execute automated sample preparation and LC-MS/MS analyses across a broad range of high-throughput proteomics assays.
• Collaborate with chemistry, biology, and disease area teams as a technical and scientific subject matter expert.
• Analyze proteomics data and generate insights into mechanism of action, target engagement, and selectivity.
• Present research findings and communicate plans, results, and analyses to cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, protocols, and analyses.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 4 years of directly related experience or a bachelor’s degree with 6 years of directly related experience.
• Doctorate-level training in proteomics, chemoproteomics, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience developing mass spectrometry-based proteomics assays, operating advanced platforms such as Orbitrap Astral, and analyzing proteomics data.
• Experience with sample preparation miniaturization and automation platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong quantitative and computational expertise in high-dimensional proteomics data analysis, with excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of targeted protein degradation or E3 ligase biology.
