Senior Backend & AI Engineer (Cyber-Engineering)

Stoïk is a European cyber company combining cyber insurance, incident response, and prevention tools to reduce the financial impact and likelihood of cyber attacks.

What you will do

• Extend the Incident Management System to support complex incidents, including full-scale ransomware response.
• Expand AI-powered workflows across incident response, underwriting, customer success, and sales call preparation.
• Work with incident responders to understand workflows and forensic tasks, then ship and iterate on useful tools.
• Build agent orchestration and evaluation frameworks while owning system reliability and adoption.
• Build a Go endpoint agent that inventories software deployed on machines and flags potential risks.
• Design for low footprint, reliability, and cross-platform behavior on production endpoints.

Requirements

• Based in Paris and able to work in a hybrid setup.
• Senior-level backend engineering experience, including 4+ years running production environments and managing speed-versus-reliability trade-offs.
• Strong experience with Go or Python, with the ability to work across backend and AI-powered systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Strong endpoint-agent deployment and architecture experience for the Go endpoint position.
• Cybersecurity knowledge or strong curiosity about cybersecurity.
