Group Organisation Design Partner

Location: Hybrid, Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom; 60% of the week is spent collaborating at office locations or local sites, with the remainder remote.

Annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary.

What you will do

• Partner with executives, business leaders, directors, and managers to design organisational structures and roles aligned with business strategy.
• Develop organisation design principles, work levels, job descriptions, and other professional blueprints.
• Advise and challenge leaders using data-led structure and role options aligned with the Tesco Service Model.
• Assess the impact of organisation design changes on behaviours, skills, capabilities, culture, systems, and communication flows.
• Partner with finance and workforce planning teams to align efficiencies, investments, and long-term workforce interventions.
• Lead change evaluation, maintain position governance, and provide insights on headcount and structure data.

Requirements

• Experience developing structures in large organisations with complex cross-functional hand-offs and interdependencies.
• Experience managing change projects internally or as an external consultant.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and provide data-led recommendations.
• Ability to work in the hybrid arrangement based in Welwyn Garden City, with regular office or local-site attendance.
