Install Qualification Operations Specialist (Contract) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite five days per week in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States

What you will do

• Drive equipment installation milestones including set, rigging, placement, hookup, energization, and qualification.
• Coordinate manufacturing, design, construction, OEM, trade contractor, and supplier stakeholders.
• Develop micro schedules and pull plans, manage decoupled SET/SL2 construction paths, and coordinate facility readiness testing.
• Validate equipment scope and OEM data against hirify.global standards, supporting design reviews, routing, space management, and change reduction.
• Manage OEM and third-party vendor performance, contracts, KPIs, supplier scorecards, and handoffs from construction to qualification.
• Apply Lean principles, document lessons learned, and improve installation methods, quality, and delivery times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business, or a related field plus 1+ year of relevant experience; or an associate’s degree related to semiconductor manufacturing plus 3+ years of experience; or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in project management, equipment or engineering tool ownership, or equivalent installation, qualification, demonstration, or maintenance technician work.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in a cleanroom and construction environment.
• Project planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, adaptability, organization, and time-management skills.
• This position is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with wet etch tool installation or demonstration and medium- or large-scale construction or tool-install programs.
• PMP certification and experience with hirify.global systems including EMS, SIRFIS, Fuzion, QUEST, IMCS, Capacity Planning, SLS, and 6D.
• Experience with station controller setup, automation, panel shutdowns, FPOCs, eFITs, tool crating and de-crating, and AIO.
• Tool installation, qualification, and maintenance specification experience.
