Undergrad Intern - Operations (Biotechnology)

Location: New Albany, Ohio; candidates must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship

Base pay: $28.87 per hour

What you will do

• Complete a 13-week internship combining project-based and experiential learning.
• Develop project charters covering objectives, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
• Work cross-functionally to identify operational problems and measure current-state performance.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and develop recommendations for operations projects.
• Present findings at an intern poster session and in a final readout to executive management.
• Support initiatives related to hirify.global's advanced technology assembly and packaging site in Ohio.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States for the full internship program.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be currently enrolled full time in an accredited bachelor's degree program with a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
• Must have completed at least one year of study before the internship and remain enrolled afterward.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program.
• Must be available for a full-time schedule and commit to potential future full-time employment by July 2028 if offered.

Nice to have

• Studies in engineering, life sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, applied mathematics, data science, supply chain management, operations, computer science, information systems, or information technology.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of VBA for Excel and SQL.
• Communication, interpersonal, organizational, project management, problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Campus leadership experience, initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, and adaptability.
