Clinical Imaging Scientific Director (Oncology)

Location: Tarrytown, New York, United States; onsite expectations apply.

Salary: $205,000–$341,600 annually

What you will do

• Develop fit-for-purpose imaging biomarker strategies and imaging endpoints for oncology clinical development.
• Lead the design and implementation of multimodality imaging measures, with a special focus on PET and CT.
• Prepare clinical imaging strategies for senior management and manage stakeholders across clinical, preclinical, academic, and industry teams.
• Define imaging protocols, manuals, charters, statistical analysis plans, and clinical study reports.
• Serve as Study Scientific Director for clinical trials involving novel imaging biomarkers and quantitative PET endpoints.
• Lead interactions with regulatory agencies and site ethics committees regarding imaging endpoints and biomarker studies.

Requirements

• PhD and at least 10 years of clinical imaging experience, including at least 7 years in oncology drug development.
• Experience implementing central efficacy assessments using RECIST 1.1, iRECIST, PCWG3, Lugano, and IMWG criteria.
• Experience as a study scientific director for PET imaging biomarker clinical trials in oncology.
• Experience applying PET imaging as a quantitative endpoint in clinical and preclinical oncology studies.
• Successful engagement with regulatory agencies, strong written and verbal communication skills, and effective project leadership.
