Medical Director Oncology (Precision Diagnostics)

Location: Remote, United States only

Base salary: $300,000–$350,000 USD, with potential additional bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Lead the clinical and medical strategy for the oncology portfolio, focused on solid tumors and head and neck malignancies.
• Design and execute clinical studies, investigator-initiated trials, registries, and translational research collaborations.
• Develop evidence-generation strategies supporting CLIA validation, clinical adoption, and reimbursement pathways.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, academic centers, cancer centers, and clinical investigators.
• Lead abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, and publication strategies while representing the organization at oncology conferences.
• Collaborate with clinical, commercial, regulatory, and data science teams.

Requirements

• MD degree, ideally with fellowship training in medical or surgical oncology.
• Subspecialty expertise or a strong clinical focus in head and neck oncology.
• Proven experience with clinical trials, publications, and scientific presentations.
• Expertise in precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, or biomarker-driven oncology care.
• Recognized or emerging thought leadership, strong academic rigor, and the ability to translate complex science into clinical and business applications.
• Must be based in the United States.
