Principal Software Engineer (Automation Testing)

Annual salary: $153,130–$181,766 in the U.S.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of rapid proof-of-concept automated solutions and services.
• Provide technical project leadership for cross-disciplinary projects across operations, research and development, commercial, manufacturing, and finance functions.
• Work with process subject matter experts and business partners to translate requirements into digital automation that improves workflow, quality, and productivity.
• Develop, validate, document, and support automation solutions in production.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance partners on computerized system validation in a GxP environment.
• Manage root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, incident, problem, change, and audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in the offered role or a project-management-related occupation.
• Five years of experience gathering requirements and creating test strategies, test plans, and test scripts.
• Experience with UFT, Selenium, Automation Anywhere, Java, C#, VBScript, VBA, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Experience with CI/CD, Agile development, GxP processes, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, computerized system validation, and compliant validation documentation.
• Experience supporting regulated systems, production solutions, incident and change management, root cause analysis, CAPA, and audits.
