Process Development Associate Scientist (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Develop mammalian cell culture and purification processes for recombinant proteins in the late-stage pipeline.
• Execute cell culture experiments at different scales using shake flasks and bioreactors.
• Perform bench- and pilot-scale purification experiments, primarily involving filtration and chromatography.
• Evaluate process robustness, facility fit, raw materials, production yields, reliability, and efficiency.
• Document experiments, analyze data, and present findings to the team.
• Author technical reports, support regulatory filings, and contribute to drug substance process development.

Requirements

• Master's degree; or bachelor's degree with 2 years of Process Development experience; or associate's degree with 4 years of Process Development experience; or high school diploma/GED with 6 years of Process Development experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in cell culture or protein purification.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, strong organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Design of Experiments and statistical analysis.
