Technical Recruiter (Defense)

What you will do

• Source active and passive candidates for hard-to-fill engineering and operations roles through LinkedIn, Boolean searches, referrals, and other methods.
• Conduct candidate screenings and technical assessments against role requirements and culture alignment.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Advise hiring managers on technical talent markets, role requirements, hiring strategies, and interview feedback.
• Build talent pipelines and market intelligence for niche technical roles.
• Improve recruiting processes through automation, data-driven decisions, innovative sourcing tools, and diverse-talent engagement.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including sourcing and closing engineering and operations candidates.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and delivering high-quality technical talent.
• Ability to assess technical skills and understand complex engineering roles.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Must work 100% onsite; this is not a remote or hybrid role.
• Access to classified or export-controlled information may require U.S. government security clearance, government authorization, citizenship, or other eligibility requirements when applicable.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing.
• Experience with cold calling, networking events, or customized sourcing campaigns.
• Familiarity with recruiting software and applicant tracking systems.
• Success building pipelines for niche technical roles and working in fast-paced environments.
