Industry Solution Leader (Mining & Milling Asset Performance and Optimization)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, or New York, New York, United States. Travel to customer locations is required as needed. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$203,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead customer-facing discovery with engineering, operations, maintenance, reliability, and executive stakeholders.
• Identify and quantify opportunities involving equipment reliability, maintenance, throughput, yield, quality, energy efficiency, and operating economics.
• Translate engineering and operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software requirements with measurable success criteria.
• Lead cross-functional teams through architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, user adoption, and scale-out.
• Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams to develop reusable industrial solutions, statements of work, deployment plans, and demonstrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, industrial technology, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on experience in mineral processing or cement/aggregates production operations, including crushing, grinding or milling, classification, flotation or beneficiation, kiln or clinker operations, or slurry systems.
• Experience improving equipment reliability, production performance, throughput, yield, quality, maintenance effectiveness, energy efficiency, or operating economics.
• Experience with industrial data and systems such as sensor and time-series data, process historians, SCADA, DCS, MES, EAM/CMMS, ERP, or advanced process control.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future company sponsorship and ability to travel to customer locations.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, optimization, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or industrial digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with industrial data, SQL, Python, analytics tools, application configuration, or scripting.
• Experience with rotating equipment, electrical equipment, production equipment, mining systems, utility assets, or complex industrial systems.
• Experience taking solutions from proof of value through production deployment and scaling them across assets, plants, facilities, or business units.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
