Industry Solution Leader - Food & Agriculture (Agriculture Production)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. Travel to customer locations may be required.

Salary: $130,000–$203,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead customer discovery across supply chain planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, pricing, inventory, and operations.
• Translate operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software solutions with defined constraints, success criteria, and business value.
• Direct use-case definition, requirements gathering, solution architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, user adoption, and scale-out.
• Lead Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, engineers, and industry experts across complex customer engagements.
• Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams to develop reusable solutions, deployment plans, statements of work, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, operations research, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on food or beverage plant operations experience, including continuous or batch processing, packaging, utilities, OEE, yield, throughput, quality, sanitation/CIP, downtime, labor, or energy.
• Experience leading complex customer-facing technical engagements and working with operational, technical, commercial, financial, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, presentation, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, operations research, mathematical optimization, advanced analytics, or supply chain digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics, optimization tools, application configuration, or scripting.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar supply chain and planning platforms.
• Experience scaling solutions across plants, product families, regions, networks, or business units.
• Advanced degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
