Industry Solution Leader - Power and Utilities (Power Generation and Battery Storage Dispatch Optimization)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States. Travel to customer locations is required as needed. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$203,000 USD annual base pay, plus benefits and equity.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and customer value from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
• Lead customer-facing discovery with engineering, operations, maintenance, reliability, and executive stakeholders.
• Identify and quantify opportunities in power generation, equipment reliability, maintenance, production performance, energy efficiency, and operating economics.
• Translate engineering and operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software requirements.
• Lead use-case definition, architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, adoption, and scale-out.
• Coordinate Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, engineers, and industry experts while informing reusable product capabilities and deployment methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, industrial technology, or technical consulting.
• Hands-on experience operating, engineering, or optimizing power-generation assets such as gas turbines, boilers/HRSG, fuel cells, or balance-of-plant equipment.
• Experience with industrial equipment, production processes, process controls, maintenance practices, industrial data, and systems such as SCADA, DCS, MES, EAM/CMMS, ERP, or process historians.
• Experience leading complex customer-facing technical engagements and working with engineering, operational, executive, software, and data science stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, optimization, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or industrial digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with industrial data, SQL, Python, analytics tools, application configuration, or scripting.
• Experience with rotating or electrical equipment, utility assets, manufacturing systems, or other complex industrial systems.
• Experience scaling solutions from proof of value through production across multiple assets, plants, facilities, or business units.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
