Field Application Specialist (Bio)

Location: hirify.global Korea Office; frequent domestic travel throughout South Korea required (50% or more)

What you will do

• Provide pre- and post-sales application support through customer visits, phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, proof-of-concept studies, technical presentations, and application training.
• Optimize customer workflows and recommend instrument and application solutions from the Bio portfolio.
• Troubleshoot application, workflow, software, and instrument issues with Field Service Engineers and technical teams.
• Build relationships with biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, academic, and research organizations.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Service, Key Account Managers, and global application teams throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in life science, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, laboratory instrumentation, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with analytical or research laboratory instruments; imaging systems, cell analysis platforms, microscopy, high-content screening, or flow cytometry experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with customer-facing application support, technical consulting, product demonstrations, training, or workflow optimization.
• Proficiency in Korean and business-level English required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple customer projects, travel frequently, and work in customer laboratory environments.

Nice to have

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Experience with CRM systems, ERP systems, and standard business software.
