Formulation Scientist (Semiconductor): Developing and improving chemical formulations and simulation methodologies for semiconductor surface preparation and cleaning solutions with an accent on customer testing, technical problem-solving, and product development. Focus on formulating solutions for global IC fabrication customers, presenting technical data, and collaborating across R&D, applications, manufacturing, quality, and scale-up engineering.
Location: Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea; based in Dongtan

What you will do
- Develop and improve methodologies that simulate customer in-line test results.
- Formulate chemical products and solutions for semiconductor cleaning, treatment, and surface preparation challenges.
- Present technical data to customers and communicate with global IC fabrication R&D and production teams to develop new products.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer applications, applications, quality, scale-up engineering, manufacturing, and EH&S throughout the product development cycle.
- Support delivery of robust chemical products from development through commercialization.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
- Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, from ideation through commercialization.
- Good communication skills in Korean and English are required.
- Good project management skills and a collaborative approach.
Nice to have
- Background in electrochemistry or analytical methods for chemicals or polymers.
- Experience with post-etch residue removal, selective etchants, post-CMP cleaning, or semiconductor clean chemistry.
