Senior Full Stack Developer (TypeScript/React)

Location: 100% remote; candidates must be based in and authorized to work in Canada, with availability to collaborate during Pacific Time hours.

Target rate: 50–70 CAD per hour.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance frontend applications and backend services.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, database-driven services, and cloud-native application components.
• Contribute to event-driven services and scheduled or background processing workloads.
• Build automated unit and integration tests and maintain software quality standards.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, clients, and Agile delivery teams while contributing to an established architecture and codebase.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a full stack developer across frontend and backend development.
• Strong TypeScript experience and experience with a modern frontend framework such as React.
• Backend development experience with Python or comparable server-side technologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, relational databases, cloud-native applications, event-driven architectures, and background processing.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, source control, code reviews, and containerized deployments such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Must be based in and authorized to work in Canada and available during Pacific Time hours. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, is required.

Nice to have

• GCP experience; relevant AWS or Azure experience is transferable.
• Client and stakeholder experience in professional services or consulting.
• Canadian public-sector or government digital-services experience.
