What you will do

• Design and develop next-generation Layer 7 security capabilities.
• Build highly scalable, real-time, distributed cloud security systems.
• Define architecture and technical direction for secure, reliable, high-performance components.
• Translate complex requirements into executable designs with product management, security research, and platform teams.
• Lead software delivery from concept through deployment and sustainment.
• Mentor engineers and drive improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical or military experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior technical leadership.
• Expert proficiency in C and strong proficiency in Go.
• Extensive experience with Unix/Linux, large-scale distributed systems, networking, and network security technologies.
• Advanced experience designing multi-threaded, multi-process, and multi-core systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, systems performance optimization, and technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, orchestration systems, and containerized deployments.
• Expertise in TLS/SSL internals, cryptography, and OpenSSL.
• Experience with HTTP protocols and backend service development.
• Proficiency in Python for tooling, automation, or system integration.
