Chemist I (Analytical Chemistry)

What you will do

• Perform and document routine chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished dietary supplement products.
• Use HPLC, HPTLC, UV-Vis, GC-FID, ICP-MS, wet chemistry methods, and approved analytical procedures.
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, calculations, and supporting documentation to ensure data integrity.
• Support non-conformance investigations, method verifications, and implementation of laboratory procedures.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, work areas, training records, and required qualifications in a compliant condition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a laboratory environment.
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation.
• Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices and the ability to follow written procedures.
• Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, technical writing, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Legal right to work in the United States; drug screening and background check required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ISO/IEC 17025, AOAC, cGMP, or another regulated laboratory environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in continuous improvement and improving laboratory processes.
