Sr. Director, Pharmacy Business Operations (Central Fill & Mail Order)

Base compensation: $157,731–$275,000 per year

What you will do

• Build, launch, and lead the central-fill and mail-order pharmacy capability for Specialty Pharmacy Services.
• Design end-to-end dispensing and fulfillment workflows covering staffing, inventory, shipping, quality controls, patient service, and performance management.
• Lead the expansion of specialty pharmacy operations from approximately 60 to 175 locations.
• Establish operating standards, KPIs, capacity models, and continuous improvement processes.
• Integrate pharmacy systems, automation, data, and technology to improve accuracy, productivity, capacity, inventory management, and patient service.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Quality, Finance, Product, Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, and 340B stakeholders.

Requirements

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree with active pharmacist licensure and the ability to obtain additional licenses as required.
• At least 10 years of progressive pharmacy operations experience, including significant leadership responsibility in large-scale or multi-site operations.
• Proven experience building, launching, or scaling a high-volume central-fill or mail-order pharmacy operation.
• Strong 340B specialty pharmacy operations experience, including program compliance and economics.
• Deep expertise in pharmacy processes, systems, automation, fulfillment, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience operating across multiple states and navigating Board of Pharmacy and pharmacy licensure requirements.
