Senior Director Trade Operations (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: Morristown, NJ or Cambridge, MA; hybrid. US and Puerto Rico residents only.

Salary: $206,250–$297,916.66 per year

What you will do

• Lead product distribution strategy for Established Products, General Medicines, and Specialty Care US business units.
• Design and implement distribution models through wholesalers, specialty pharmacies, and channel partners.
• Support product launches, commercialization, pipeline planning, and distribution risk mitigation.
• Manage partner relationships, contracts, performance metrics, service levels, and trade-related issues.
• Lead inventory management, product allocation, order fulfillment, and trade performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams while leading direct reports and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 8–10+ years of business experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare sector.
• Market Access, wholesale trade, and channel experience are required; pricing and contracting knowledge is preferred.
• Strong understanding of national and regional wholesale, retail, and pharmacy customers.
• Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to influence matrix teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% and work in a hybrid setup in Morristown or Cambridge.
