Electrical Hardware Engineer (Digital Embedded Hardware)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; in-office position. Travel requirement: 0–10%.

Salary: $76,700–$105,500 annually.

What you will do

• Design boards, select components, create schematics, and develop PCB layouts for GNSS and communications hardware.
• Develop embedded digital architecture and perform mixed-signal validation.
• Execute design verification test plans using laboratory equipment and automated test scripts.
• Debug and resolve complex circuit issues.
• Integrate sensors, power management, and circuit protection into complete system solutions with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, with strong knowledge of circuit fundamentals and schematic design.
• Hands-on experience building, debugging, and validating embedded digital circuits, microcontrollers, and power supply designs.
• Proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.
• Experience using laboratory tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with USB, CAN, SPI, and I2C serial communication protocols.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of C, C++, or Python for test automation.
• Experience defining project scope and technical deliverables from product requirements.
