User Research Associate Operations Coordinator (Gaming)

Location: Onsite in the Sherman Oaks, California office, Monday through Friday

Salary: $19.01–$35.15 per hour in the U.S.

What you will do

• Support user research studies for AAA games from setup through completion.
• Handle participant intake, check-in, outtake, scheduling, and coordination.
• Run and monitor research sessions while keeping activities on schedule.
• Prepare, maintain, and reset the research lab and its equipment between sessions.
• Run selected sessions and support the user research team with daily operational tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Sherman Oaks, California.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management.
• Adaptability, quick learning, and the ability to manage varied responsibilities.
• Professional and friendly interaction with coworkers and research participants.

Nice to have

• Passion for video games and familiarity with at least one Activision title.
• Experience with first-person shooters on console or PC.
• Experience in lab operations, event coordination, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles.
• Exposure to user research, UX, or game testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in game development, communications, or a related field.
