Salary: €60,000–€75,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Maintain the hotel building, grounds, physical plant, equipment, and engineering systems.
• Manage engineering budgets, operating expenses, payroll, service contracts, and capital expenditure projects.
• Oversee HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, fire protection, alarms, and other life-safety systems.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance, asset protection, energy conservation, and property engineering strategies.
• Supervise construction and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Lead the emergency response team and support engineering staff, guest issue resolution, and operational communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 6 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or a related professional area.
• Alternatively, a two-year degree in building and construction, engineering, mechanics, or a related major plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• Technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
• Experience managing building systems, budgets, regulatory compliance, licenses, permits, and certifications.
