Scientist II, Process Analytical Technology R&D (Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

What you will do

• Lead defined scientific work packages and deliver results against project objectives.
• Design, execute, and analyze experimental studies supporting Process Analytical Technology development.
• Develop PAT solutions for mammalian purification processes, including monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, and emerging biologic modalities.
• Apply scientific expertise to solve technical challenges, improve processes, and evaluate new technologies.
• Generate, interpret, and communicate data to support technical decision-making.
• Train and mentor colleagues while representing R&D as a technical expert with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in a biotechnology, biologics, or biopharmaceutical laboratory environment.
• Experience supporting process development, analytical technologies, or manufacturing sciences.
• Strong experimental design, data analysis, problem-solving, and scientific communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work on-site in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Monday through Friday.
