TL;DR
Product Analyst (Automotive): Shaping and optimizing the Evolve vehicle-repair platform by translating user needs, process insights, and business opportunities into actionable product requirements with an accent on discovery, workflow analysis, and measurable operational value. Focus on defining user stories and system behaviours, supporting Agile delivery and UAT, and improving data quality, usability, governance, and compliance.

Location: Stansted, United Kingdom

Salary: £40,000–£55,000 per year, plus performance-related bonus opportunity.

hirify.global, owned by Aviva, operates in vehicle repair and develops the Evolve platform to support operational teams and improve vehicle-repair processes.

What you will do

  • Conduct product discovery by analysing user pain points, workflows, product usage data, customer feedback, and operational metrics.
  • Translate business needs and insights into prioritised problem statements, feature ideas, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and user journeys.
  • Create process maps, data flows, interaction diagrams, and system behaviour definitions for the Evolve platform.
  • Support refinement sessions, engineering delivery, test planning, UAT, QA review, release readiness, and post-release evaluation.
  • Map current-state and future-state operational processes and identify improvements in efficiency, usability, and data quality.
  • Facilitate workshops and design discussions while supporting communication between Product, Engineering, and business users.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of digital product development, product lifecycles, and iterative delivery.
  • Understanding of IT systems, integrations, APIs, data models, and application behaviour.
  • Ability to translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience with analysis, mapping, and documentation tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Visio, and process-modelling tools.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery, testing cycles, and release processes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Product or Business Analysis certification, such as BCS, IIBA, Product Owner, or Scrum.
  • Training or experience in analytics, data models, SQL, or systems analysis.
