Senior Product Analyst (Transaction Enrichment)

Location: Hybrid in London, with office attendance 2–3 days per week. Working from abroad is available for up to 120 days per year, subject to having the right to work in the country of choice.

What you will do

• Analyse transaction-enrichment data with Python and SQL to identify, quantify, and explain failures.
• Find product opportunities, recurring failure modes, and signals for systemic improvements.
• Define how proposed solutions should behave, including their inputs, limitations, and accuracy, cost, and coverage trade-offs.
• Build test harnesses and prototypes to validate hypotheses before engineering work begins.
• Design evaluations, including LLM-as-judge approaches, to measure improvements and identify new problems.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for Product and Engineering roadmaps.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in an analytical or technical role.
• Ability to write Python and SQL for data exploration, output cleaning, API calls, and prototyping.
• Experience working with LLM APIs, including prompting and structuring outputs.
• Strong experimental thinking, sceptical interpretation of results, and ability to investigate imperfect systems.
• Ability to own ambiguous problems, prioritise experiments, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work from the United Kingdom and attend the London office 2–3 days per week; the right to work is required for any country of remote work.

• Experience in fintech, banking, or a fast-paced data-led environment.
