Staff Security Architect (Cloud Security)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; an in-person interview at a company location may be required before a hiring decision.

Salary: USD 150,000–170,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Lead security architecture engagements for complex enterprise initiatives and high-impact technology implementations.
• Advise engineering, infrastructure, cloud, data, product, and business teams throughout solution design and delivery.
• Develop security strategies, reference architectures, design patterns, standards, and secure-by-design guidance.
• Facilitate threat modeling, architectural risk assessments, and security design reviews, translating risks into controls and remediation plans.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions, and integrate cybersecurity requirements into enterprise technology roadmaps.
• Mentor security architects and cybersecurity professionals while presenting technical risks and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including security architecture, application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, governance, risk management, or security engineering.
• At least 3 years designing enterprise security architectures for complex cloud-native, hybrid, or distributed environments.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native security services.
• Experience with threat modeling frameworks such as STRIDE, PASTA, MITRE ATT&CK, or OWASP Threat Modeling.
• Strong knowledge of SSDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD security, SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, penetration testing, IAM, PAM, EDR, SIEM, encryption, PKI, and data protection.
• Experience applying NIST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, SOX, or CIS Controls, with strong communication and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, GIAC, TOGAF, or equivalent certification.
• Experience establishing or maturing enterprise security architecture programs.
• Background in digital media, streaming platforms, content production, broadcast operations, or media and entertainment technologies.
• Knowledge of modern identity architectures, Zero Trust, AI security, data security, and cloud-native security principles.
