Data Engineer Lead (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data ingestion architectures in Snowflake.
• Own end-to-end ELT pipelines integrating multiple data sources.
• Design data quality frameworks with validation rules, testing strategies, and monitoring.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and architectures on AWS, including S3, Glue, Lambda, and EMR.
• Develop data validation and ingestion frameworks, including Streamlit-based UI components when needed.
• Lead technical practices for data engineering, governance, documentation, and pipeline reliability while identifying risks and bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong senior-level or lead mindset.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS data pipelines.
• Experience building ELT pipelines and data ingestion solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing.
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Client-facing communication skills and the ability to lead technical practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with clean rooms such as AMC.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Experience with dbt, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
