Senior Graphic Designer, Board Games

Location: Roseville, Minnesota, US; hybrid schedule

Base salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually

What you will do

• Design thematic game elements, graphics, iconography, text layouts, and other components for board and card games.
• Create intuitive graphic systems that represent game mechanisms and translate concepts into playable products.
• Design packaging and game logos that support consumer engagement.
• Coach designers, participate in peer reviews, review final layouts, and provide technical direction.
• Maintain component templates, improve design processes, and research new techniques, software, and game components.
• Collaborate across disciplines, communicate project status, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of graphic design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of print and production processes.
• Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical direction skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the hobby game market.
• Experience with Blender, Modo, or equivalent 3D software.
• Experience with JavaScript, AppleScript, or equivalent coding.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Mac or Windows operating systems.
