Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, or Auckland, New Zealand. U.S. office roles are subject to ITAR eligibility requirements.
Salary: $90,000β$115,000 USD annually for California-based employees; total compensation also includes company stock.

is an end-to-end aerospace company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems for space missions.
What you will do
- Design graphics for digital platforms, print materials, presentations, events, product launches, mission campaigns, and corporate communications.
- Develop visual concepts that make complex aerospace technology accessible and engaging.
- Create mission patches, vehicle livery, merchandise, conference materials, website content, and other aerospace applications.
- Support video content, motion graphics, social media assets, and technical visualizations.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining consistency with brand standards and organized asset libraries.
- Collaborate with the Brand Design Lead, internal stakeholders, and external vendors from concept through production.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional graphic design experience, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 9+ years of total work experience may substitute for the degree.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand design.
- Experience developing merchandise and swag and managing vendor production processes.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- U.S. office candidates must meet ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations; New Zealand candidates must be eligible to access ITAR-regulated equipment and data.
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace, space, defense, or deep-tech industries.
- Motion graphics, video editing, 3D rendering, web design, Figma, Sketch, Cinema 4D, Blender, or KeyShot experience.
- Experience with live events, exhibitions, experiential activations, photography direction, or art direction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, present creative concepts, incorporate feedback, and translate technical subject matter into compelling visuals.
