Associate Director, AP Graphics-2

Location: Remote in the United States; employees near hirify.global offices may choose hybrid work with in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, approximately 2–4 times per year.

Salary: $56,000–$90,000 per year.

hirify.global is a self-sustaining nonprofit education organization that develops and administers Advanced Placement coursework, assessments, and teacher professional learning programs.

What you will do

• Create technical vector graphics, maps, and illustrations across multiple AP courses and formats.
• Handle day-to-day graphics requests while adapting to changing production priorities, deadlines, and course assignments.
• Apply AP Graphics standards across digital, hybrid, and print materials.
• Maintain asset libraries, templates, and documentation under the direction of the Senior Director and Course Leads.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and workflow questions, and contribute to process improvements.
• Communicate with content experts and production colleagues to resolve design issues efficiently.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical art, graphic design, and/or illustration.
• Portfolio demonstrating excellent vector graphics and illustration skills.
• Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with Adobe InDesign and other Creative Cloud applications is helpful.
• Knowledge of digital and print graphics conventions, including resolution, file formats, color modes, typography, scale, angles, ratios, and percentages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Illustration, or a related field, plus competent photo editing and strong attention to detail.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel 2–4 times per year for hirify.global business.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Smartsheet and/or SharePoint.
• Familiarity with AP course subject matter, such as STEM, World Languages, or Geography.
