Senior Software Developer (Microsoft Stack)

Location: On-site in Oxnard, California; U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Own software projects across functions and teams, taking responsibility for challenging development initiatives.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex enterprise applications and user interfaces.
• Lead the adoption of new development tools, methodologies, systems, and modernization efforts.
• Perform code reviews, create technical documentation, and translate requirements into application interfaces.
• Guide and mentor junior developers and potentially lead or supervise a team or segment.
• Communicate complex software concepts with operational teams and manage delivery in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• At least 8 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field; three additional years of directly relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented software and development platforms such as the Microsoft Stack or AWS.
• Experience with application and interface technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML, C#, VBA, VB.NET, and databases such as SQL.
• Strong technical problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and Microsoft Office skills.
