Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET/Azure)

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Design, develop, code, test, and debug applications across the end-to-end software stack.
• Build and maintain APIs using C#/.NET in an Azure environment.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and programming instructions.
• Develop and implement database management and backup solutions.
• Integrate cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and provide production support.
• Analyze technical and business impacts, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with business, technology, client, and vendor partners.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in application development, support, or integration.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET, Azure, SQL Server, databases, Oracle, and batch processing.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle, firewalls, FTP, and SFTP.
• Experience with application production support, troubleshooting, systems analysis, and database management.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, Angular, other relational database management systems, or document databases.
• Banking or payments domain experience.
• Experience with API portals, developer portals, or open banking frameworks.
• Web development experience with JavaScript.
