Manager, Social Media (Biopharma)

Location: Remote/Home-Based, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; US-based candidates only

Salary: $124,000–$186,000 annual base pay for US-based candidates, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the global corporate social media strategy and editorial calendar.
• Manage LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social channels.
• Create and oversee copy, graphics, video, and short-form content for diverse audiences.
• Support executive social presence, community engagement, moderation, social listening, and issue response.
• Coordinate with Communications, Legal, Compliance, Medical Affairs, HR, Investor Relations, creative teams, and agencies.
• Define KPIs, report on performance, manage paid social campaigns, and optimize channel strategy.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant social media experience, preferably in-house or agency work for large or global organizations.
• Biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, visual storytelling, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Experience translating complex or technical information into clear, engaging content.
• Working knowledge of FDA/FTC considerations and Legal, Regulatory, and Medical review processes is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field; proficiency with social publishing, listening, and analytics platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience managing paid social campaigns and working with creative or media agencies.
• Experience supporting corporate, executive, employer-brand, or talent-attraction communications.
