Sr. Retail Analyst

Salary: $93,400–$120,120 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Analyze retail business, customer, labor, shipment, returns, and operational performance data.
• Manage store forecasting processes and improve the accuracy of data inputs, outputs, parameters, and assumptions.
• Build and monitor KPIs, measurement frameworks, dashboards, visualizations, and recurring performance reports.
• Conduct anomaly detection, cohort and segmentation analysis, experimentation analysis, time-series forecasting, and other quantitative studies.
• Develop actionable recommendations for product performance, consumer behavior, marketing effectiveness, real estate selection, pricing, workforce planning, and inventory optimization.
• Collaborate with retail, real estate, finance, data engineering, and analytics stakeholders to support business initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in in-depth business analysis and delivering actionable insights to business leaders, preferably in retail.
• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics or equivalent experience.
• Experience building and executing machine learning models, including regression models, clustering, and decision trees.
• Technical proficiency in data extraction and transformation using query and coding languages, plus experience with visualization and presentation tools.
• Strong analytical, logical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Experience preparing business reviews, performance assessments, written reports, and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
