Mechanical Engineer Intern (Year-Round) (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Create and update engineering drawings for equipment and process requirements.
• Support plant-wide safety and ergonomic improvement projects.
• Lead process improvement projects from concept through implementation and completion.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, contractors, suppliers, and other internal teams.
• Gain hands-on mechanical engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a four-year Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related degree program.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel and analyst skills.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
